Erik skördar stora framgångar i utställningsringarna i England. Här är en recension från en utställning.    Allen-Line's Björksätras Corfitz At Deckham. 14 månader. Typiskt maskulint huvud. Utmärkt nos, nosparti och skalle. Typiskt öga och uttryck. Starkt byggd, välvinklad förhand. Substans i benstomme och tassar. Korrekt bröstkorg för längd, djup och päls. Muskulös bakdel. Guldfärgad framträdande. Sund fram- och bakdel. Mycket lovande.

Excellent nose, muzzle & skull. Typical eye & expression. Strongly built, well angulated forehand. Substance in bone & feet. Correct ribcage for length, depth & spring. Muscular hindquarters. Gold overlay emerging. Sound fore & aft. Very promising.

From Erik's new mum:

I have written a little about where Erik will be coming to in the UK if this is of interest to you. Erik will be moving to a village in the centre of England's Midlands region. It is close to the National Forest in the heart of Leicestershire and within reach of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. One of the closest city's is Nottingham famous for the legendry Robin Hood. He will enjoy lots of lovely walks with his new family.

Några ord från hennes nya mamma: 

Hon är en liten karaktär, det är helt klart 😀Hon sprider en smittsam energi in i rummet och bär sin långa svans högt, medan hon sveper den fram och tillbaka!Hon älskar verkligen våra långa promenader längs floden varje morgon och hon har förbättrat sitt minne avsevärt de senaste månaderna.Hon är en typiskt viljestark Sussex (som jag älskar 🥰) och otroligt lojal. När jag kommer in i vardagsrummet rusar hon in först, hoppar upp i soffan och fastnar vid mig som kardborreband så fort jag sätter mig ner! Jag älskar hur hon alltid väljer att ligga bredvid mig.

She is a little character that's for sure 😀She brings an infectious energy into the room and carries her long tail high, swishing it back and forth!She absolutely loves our long river walks every morning and shes much improved her recall over recent months.She is a typically strong willed Sussex (which I adore 🥰) and incredibly loyal. When I walk into the sitting room, she races in first, jumps on the sofa and sticks to me like velcro as soon as I sit down! I love how she always chooses to lie next to me.

Mabel will be joining our family in the Welsh countryside - (we are just 1/4 mile over the Hereford border)! She has two very friendly clumber spaniels to cuddle up with and race across the fields with. We are literally nestled in the Welsh mountains! My daughters who are 12 and (almost) 10 cannot wait to dote on her!! She is so loved already If time and circumstance allows, I would love to get involved with the show circuit (as a complete novice I may add!!) And in the future, as you know, I would love to be able to add to the Sussex spaniel population and hopefully breed some puppies from her.

Vi saknar den fart och fläkt som hon gav oss de få månaderna som hon var hemma. Jag glömmer aldrig när hon tog sig ur bilburen för att nå fram till Billy Bob på vår resa genom Europa. Eller hur lycklig hon var när vi väl var framme hos sin nya familj.Orla deltar på utställningar med bra resultat och tränar lite fågelapportering. Orla fick en anka i julklapp.

We miss the speed and enthusiasm she gave us during the few months she was home. I will never forget when she got out of the car cage to reach Billy Bob on our trip through Europe. Or how happy she was when we finally arrived with her new family.Orla participates in shows with good results and practices a little bird retrieval. Orla got a duck for Christmas.

We are so fortunate to live 15 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minute walk from the wonderful South Downs in East Sussex. Finnegan (who is just 3) came to live here in 2021 and he has grown into a kind, gentle soul who enjoys living life everyday. Whether that is exploring in the woods, running on a sandy beach, swimming in the sea or rivers or learning the craft of being a show dog & a Gundog (both of which are still works in progress), he is a very happy little fella. He loves being in the garden and on the rare occasion we get snow, he enjoys every moment. We can't wait for Orla to come and join us here in early March and I'm sure that Finn will welcome her and show her the ropes and guide her along the journey.

Björksätras Belial = Billy Bob

Billy Bob som reste hela vägen från Svergie till Canada där han nu lever lysliv. Han har 3 kompisar i sin familj, en Bracco och två Clumbers. Billy Bob gör även han succse i utställningsringen och bland sin nya familjs familj och vänner.

Billy Bob who traveled all the way from Sweden to Canada where he now lives a happy life. He has 3 friends in his family, a Bracco and two Clumbers. Billy Bob is also successful in the show ring and among his new family's family and friends.

From Billy Bob's new Dads: BB has arrived in Canada via a long journey from Sweden to our friend and his Dad's owner Jan, in the Netherlands. 4 European countries and after a 6 hour flight a further 3 Canadian provinces including a snowstorm in northern Québec. He joins a Clumber Spaniel and 2 Bracchi Italiani. He is so smart and already outwitting us ! It was love at first sight.

Björksätras Blanzeflor = Betty

Betty den vackra lilla tjejen har nog haft lite bus för sig i sitt nya hem. Hon lever ett lyxigt familjeliv precis som det ska vara.

Betty the beautiful little girl has probably been a little naughty in her new home. She lives a luxurious family life just as it should be.

Oh gosh! She will be a spoilt pet, will share our home with Barney Our neutered cocker spaniel. And may be in a few years have some puppies to help preserve the breed I will let you word it better than me.

My words:

A smart prank from Betty - when I was going to work one day - which the puppies don't like, Betty started hitting the water bowl with her paw. When I didn't act on it, she did a flat foot jump straight into the water bowl so I had to take the car today missed the bus... her new mum will have a lot to do...

Björksätras Brand = Bobby

Bobby den intelligenta av de 9 busfröna. Han utbildar ju sig till terapihund. det går enligt hans mamma väldig bra för honom i skolan, och han går numera i avancerad grupp för att han är så duktig.

Bobby the intelligent one of the 9 mischievous dogs. He is training to be a therapy dog. According to his mother, he is doing very well at school, and he is now in the advanced group because he is so good.

Björksätras Celestine

Celestine = Celest hon lever rövare med sina kompisar på Kennel Pelydryns där det finns flera kompisar av rasen Welsh springer spaniel. Celest gör också bra i från sig i utställningsringen med flera certifikat och ett par Cacib.

Celestine = Celest she lives a life of adventure with her friends at Kennel Pelydryns where there are several friends of the Welsh Springer Spaniel breed. Celest also does well in the show ring with several certificates and a couple of Cacibs.
